Bassetti Granfoulard – the large, versatile cloth whose uses are as varied as its history. Use it as a tablecloth, curtain, room divider, beach towel, bedspread, sofa cover...
MONNALISA - The second stop on the journey is Florence, the cradle of the Italian Renaissance, with its priceless art treasures. One of these is the Uffizi Gallery, considered a temple of Renaissance painting and home to one of the most important and famous paintings in art history, Botticelli's "Primavera." The floral dress worn by Flora and the precious brocades of Renaissance gowns are the inspiration for an elegant paisley pattern with a romantic style and refined colors. The design interprets a typical Granfoulard paisley, rich in decorative details, and is combined with a light flounce of solid-colored cashmere motifs, which are subtle and delicate, forming a frame with soft lines. There are three color options: the first combines silver-gray with lilac and plum; the second combines red with gold and tangerine; the third combines fir green with turquoise and moss.
Granfoulard is probably the world's best-known product with which Bassetti established itself in the market. As simple as Italian life itself, the uses of this "large scarf" are equally simple and versatile.
Today you have it as a tablecloth on the garden or dining table, and tomorrow it can be knotted as a room divider or used as a decorative cover on the sofa .
Whether attached to a curtain rod as a scarf, it serves its purpose just as well as a sunshade , beach towel , or simply on a sun lounger . As you can see, there are no limits to your imagination.
Create your own next use for your Granfoulard.
