Bassetti Granfoulard

MIRA - The idea for this pattern came from the herbarium wallpaper with botanical drawings in Milan's mansion 'Casa degli Atellani' by celebrated architect Portaluppi. This flowery tendril pattern with a decorative character interprets typical floral elements of an Indian Art Deco style saree. The pattern develops in the central part, the border is refined with paisley patterns in combination with geometric patterns that come together to form a harmonious, contemporary whole.
There are three color variants. The first in cool sky blue tones with color accents in pink and terracotta. The second in warm burgundy tones and amethyst-colored elements. The third is composed in the relaxing green tones of the Italian autumn - forest and moss green harmonize here with mustard colors.

Granfoulard is probably the best-known product worldwide with which Bassetti has established itself on the market. The possible uses of this "large cloth" are as simple and versatile as Italian life.

Today you still have it as a tablecloth on the garden or dining table and tomorrow it can be knotted as a room divider or serve as a decorative cover on the sofa .

Attached to a curtain rod as a scarf , it fulfills its purpose as an awning , beach towel or simply on a sun lounger . As you can see, there are no limits to the imagination.
