FLORENCE - A journey through the wonders of Italy takes you to the territory of ancient Etruria, a place steeped in history between Tuscany, Lazio, and Umbria, where Etruscan civilization and art originated and developed. Etruscan goldsmithing is widespread in these places and provides creative inspiration for the creation of a new granfoulard design. Elegant Etruscan jewelry has always been an example of refined goldsmithing, using sophisticated techniques, such as the granulated brooches and medallions. This particular technique involved applying tiny gold spheres to the jewelry pieces to create circular ornaments. The shapes of the floral motifs, interpreted by the design, are surrounded by refined stamped motifs, creating an elegant and ethereal composition. The simplicity of the flounce is enhanced by a textile effect reminiscent of gold embroidery. There are two color variants: the first with a beige background and gold and cardinal red motifs, and the second with a turquoise background and gold and terracotta motifs.

Granfoulard is arguably the world's most well-known product, with which Bassetti has established itself on the market. The uses of this "large scarf" are as simple and versatile as Italian life.
