ESPERIDI - The first stop on this fascinating journey through Italian beauty begins in the city of Padua, home to the oldest botanical garden in the world. The "Garden of the Naiads," with its majestic Japanese magnolias, is the cue for a design that envelops us in an exotic atmosphere with delicate floral bouquets and Japanese-style butterflies. A harmonious composition enriched by a sophisticated flounce inspired by the decorative prints of ancient Japanese obi, the ribbons used to fasten traditional garments. These elements are also found in the central part of the pattern, creating a rich background. The design reinterprets a romantic floral motif in a modern form, reminiscent of the ancient Orient. There are three color variations: a light and luminous one combining ivory, pink, and cream with touches of sienna; a more intense and vibrant one in burgundy and terracotta; and one in deep blue and petrol tones with hints of copper and caramel.

Granfoulard is arguably the world's most well-known product, with which Bassetti has established itself on the market. The uses of this "large scarf" are as simple and versatile as Italian life.

Today you have it as a tablecloth on the garden or dining table and tomorrow it can be tied up as a room divider or serve as a decorative cover on the sofa .
