CIVITA - The beauty of precious silk fabrics is revived in a modern interpretation in this elegant design. The exquisite craftsmanship of antique silk, brocade, and damask, woven or printed with oriental-inspired motifs, is reinterpreted. The design draws on the classic mezzero floral motif that reached Italy with the East India Trading Company and inspired the first Granfoulard. The borders are richly decorated with lush floral elements, while the colored background of the center panel features a geometric degradé.

Granfoulard is arguably the world's most well-known product, with which Bassetti has established itself on the market. The uses of this "large scarf" are as simple and versatile as Italian life.

Today you have it as a tablecloth on the garden or dining table and tomorrow it can be tied up as a room divider or serve as a decorative cover on the sofa .
