CIVITA - The beauty of the precious silk fabrics, modernly implemented, is revived in this elegant design. The very fine processing of antique silk, brocade and damask, woven or printed with oriental-inspired motifs, is reinterpreted. The design takes up the classic mezzero flower motif that reached Italy with the East Indian trading company and was the inspiration for the first Granfoulard. The borders are richly decorated with lush floral elements, while the colored background of the middle section shows a geometric degradation. There are two color suggestions: the first with an intense blue background and turquoise and orange ramage, the second with a red background and floral elements in moss green, gold and terracotta.

Granfoulard is probably the best-known product worldwide with which Bassetti has established itself on the market. The possible uses of this "big shawl" are as simple as Italian life.

Today you still have it as a tablecloth on the garden or dining table and tomorrow it can be knotted as a room divider or serve as a decorative cover on the sofa .

As a scarf attached to a curtain rod, it fulfills its purpose as a sun sail , beach towel or simply on a sun lounger . As you can see, there are no limits to your imagination.
