BARISANO - This design was inspired by refined floral motifs typical of fine fabrics such as silk, satin, brocade, and damask. In this particular motif, the exquisite ornamentation of Indienne fabrics, which reached Italy from the Orient, is highlighted by luminous and iridescent reflections. Delicate ornaments in the central section create a new, imaginative ramage with an embroidered effect, while the floral borders are adorned with highly decorative meander bands that frame and emphasize the entire design.
