CLEAN WASH - laundry fragrance

Our latest project is our washing machine module. It sounds unbelievable at first, but we let ourselves be convinced.

When I think about how many kilometers of bed linen, fitted sheets, fabrics, pillows and blankets we have sold in the last 34 years and how often these products have been washed, then one first becomes aware of how much detergent we all flush into our sewage treatment plants!

In combination with the washing machine module, there is still the option of scenting the laundry with a few drops of these laundry oils.

We currently have the scent: LAVENDER, ROSE and LEMONGRAS, each with 100 ml content in a blue glass bottle.

Composition / ingredients

LAVENDER: 15% -30% non-ionic surfactants, fragrances: linalool, limonene

ROSE: 15% -30% non-ionic surfactants, fragrances: citronellol, geraniol, eugenol, benzyl salicylate, phenylacetaldehyde, geranyl acetate, L-menthanone.

LEMONGRAS: 15% -30% non-ionic surfactants, fragrances: citral, limonene

Perhaps a few facts about detergent consumption in Germany:

Environmental situation: Around 630,000 tons of detergents are used in Germany every year. Every resident uses almost 8 kilograms of detergent a year. In addition, there are fabric softeners and other washing aids and laundry care products, a total of around 220,000 tons per year. Phosphate-free detergents have established themselves on the German market since 1986. Today only phosphate-free laundry detergents are used in households.

Modern detergents pollute the environment insofar as some ingredients contained in the detergent cannot be broken down even after the complex treatment of the wastewater in the sewage treatment plant. This can lead to a considerable burden on people and the environment.

These non-degradable ingredients are primarily fragrances , antibacterial ingredients and preservatives as well as fillers , which are also known as trickling substances.

These are all just a few small pieces of the puzzle that might make the world a little better!
